Sitting in a chair in his hotel room in Chicago, Brian peered out the window. He was absorbing the view of the architectural skyline. Then he shifted his view to the sky, looking into the vast sea of outer space, pondering the immensity of it all, thinking about the countless stars, planets, and life that probably exist all over the universe. He was in awe, just trying to fathom the universe in its grandiosity.

He thought to himself, "How can I move out and explore the vastness of outer space? Surely, intelligent life has to have evolved out there. It evolves so easily, as it did here on earth. What do I have to do to be able to explore our universe?"

He sat in his chair in silence, completely relaxed. Then, while staring out the window, a thought occurred to him, "We’ve got to breakout of our closed, stagnant paradigm of civilized life. It’s time to leave our myths and irrationalities behind so we on earth can join the rest of the universe that is most assuredly teeming with conscious life. To do that—to move out of our stupid, closed world—we need political freedom."

Brian Storm just sat still, alone, at peace with the cosmos. Suddenly he said out loud, "That’s it! We’ll create a new world, one that arises from the principles of freedom, leaving no opening for parasitical/destructive leaders. We’ll simply abandon today’s irreparably corrupt world. Then when we have a totally free world, private individuals and corporations will be free to allocate their resources to mining the cosmos for profit. Of course: we need to be free on earth before we can move beyond our planet."

Excited, Brian could not wait to run his idea past Alex Freeman. He sent Alex an email message, asking Alex to meet him in a live chat room. Alex responded to Brian’s email message and the two met in a chat room. Once there, the two were able to communicate in real time. Their communication was as follows:

Brian: Alex, are you there?

Alex: Yes. I’m having trouble seeing your message though. Hold on while I fix this damn computer.

Brian: Okay, let me know when things are working right.

Alex: Ah, I figured it out. I just had to change the setting. Now everything should be fine.

Brian: Great. Listen, I want to explain my radical idea to you.

Alex: Radical? Are you planning on taking over the world?

Brian: LOL! No, well, not like that.

Alex: I’m all ears…I mean eyes.

Brian: Great. You remember when we met in Hawaii and we discussed our ideas about the world? Well, I’ve met with Bill Warner and Christie Bridges to discuss these issues further.

Alex: You met the great master himself? And Ms. Freedom too? How is she doing, you lucky dog!

Brian: Yes, I met them both. But let me tell you what happened. Ms. Bridges told me about a law professor who is fully aware of what’s going on in the world. She understands how today’s leaders use the law to control and drain productive people, which is why our world is futile. Most people sense this, at least implicitly, which is why so many people give up on life.

Alex: I’m with you so far. So, what’s your plan?

Brian: Please, listen to what I’m about to say before reacting. I plan on creating a new world -- one based on the principles of freedom, where parasitical leaders can’t survive let alone rise to power. I’m asking you to help me. We could recruit the best people on earth to work with us.

Alex: Whoa boy. I think you lost me. You know, the part about "creating a new world."

Brian: What do you mean?

Alex: I’m awful busy with my own work. I just don’t have the time to create another world. Besides, what about today’s world? Why not just make some changes to it? Why reinvent the wheel?

Brian: Are you too busy to become rich and famous – fabulously rich and world famous?

Alex: I’m never too busy for that.

Brian: Think what all this means! First, today’s world is rotten to the core, right down to its philosophical base, which is why all the reforms throughout history have not delivered freedom to everyone. We can leave that world behind; I’m sure of it. Now that cyberspace has arrived, we can work untouched by the corrupt power system.

Alex: Your ideas do sound intriguing.

Brian: If we develop and cultivate a new world based on an honest philosophical base, there will be no way dishonest/corrupt leaders will be able to rise to power or even survive. Everyone will be free from the start. There never will be a compromise of anyone’s freedom for any reason. This means that each person will be free to pursue his or her own interests without being told what to do by anyone.

Alex: Boy, you sure know how to create a world I’d like to live in.

Brian: It’d be hard to do, no doubt. But if, say, we could create a new country and successfully establish it as the first fully free country, I’m sure other countries would follow suit. They would have to because ours would be so prosperous that they would fall too far behind if they remained in their old-style repressive paradigm.

Alex: What do we need to do, in practical terms.

Brian: We need to get together so I can show you some work that I’m going to prepare. I want to meet with you and Adrienne soon. How does next week sound?

Alex: Fine.

Brian: Okay, I’m in Chicago now and I’m going back to Washington DC. What are the chances of you and Adrienne coming to the East Coast to visit me here?

Alex: Ah, come to think of it, Adrienne has an art show in New York early next month. If you can wait until then, we can meet in New York.

Brian: Certainly. We’ll meet in New York City. Send me an email when you know which day you’re arriving and where you’ll be staying. I’m eager to meet with both of you and get working on this project.

Alex: That is some project you’ve got. I’ll email you and then see you in New York.

Brian: Great. I’ll say good-bye for now.

Alex: Right, I’m signing off too.
