The Gift of Immortality is a story about a boy who grows up with happiness…only to discover a world gone mad where everyone loses the values of life and then dies. As the boy grows into an adult, he refuses to surrender to the crazy world in which he lives. Instead, he has a better idea; he puts his knowledge and skills to work to create a rational world. And in the process, he unexpectedly discovers the key to immortality, which he releases to the world.

But people lash out at him with hostility and envy. Some people are jealous of his work while others are enraged at him for upsetting the status quo—for introducing such a radical innovation into society. Barely escaping jail and assassination, he brings his gift of immortality to the world with heroic effort, courage, and wisdom. The world takes a great leap forward as a result of his work.

Overview

Part 1: The Past

The early years: Brian Storm’s youth. Brian learns that most kids give up on life by age ten. He believes that many adults have long since given up on life.

Growing up: Introduction of Alex Freeman, Adrienne Jewel, and Violet Newman. Alex and Brian discuss how most kids give up on life. Brian reveals his thoughts about adults and Alex agrees. Brian, Alex, and Adrienne venture out into the world.

Discovering a mad world: Brian begins an intensive self-study program. Combining his knowledge and experiences, he realizes that the world in which he lives is crazy, practically insane. His studies wake him up to the fact that nearly all adults are locked in a bizarre, unhappy world. He meets with his two favorite authors, Bill Warner and Christie Bridges, to discuss his new understanding. They are glad Brian understands, but tell him that most people do not yet understand the condition of the world.

Longing for a better world: Brian meets with Kimberly Young, a law professor. She too confirms Brian’s view of the world. She tries to explain the state of the world to people, but most are disinterested. Brian develops a plan. Brian, Alex, and Adrienne decide to leave the crazy world behind and create a new world, one that is fully rational. They recruit prosperous land developer John Gardner, successful model Tamara Fox, law professor Kimberly Young, freedom authors Bill Warner & Christie Bridges, and other people. They all work to establish a fully rational society. During his research, Brian unexpectedly discovers an invaluable piece of knowledge.

Part 2: The Present

Underground research: Brian unites his life experiences and learned knowledge with his new discovery. He realizes he has the raw knowledge to make humans immortal, both in mind and body. But this raw knowledge is too general; it needs to be refined before it can be applied. Brian meets Dr. Richard Masters, a brilliant medical doctor, and April Donovan, a biomedical researcher. Brian shares his secret knowledge with them, and asks if they will help him refine his knowledge for practical application. At first they refuse, thinking Brian is crazy. But Brian persuades them to work with him. Eventually, they work together happily. Then one day their labor bears fruit.

The breakthrough: Brian’s original theory of human immortality proves correct. By transfiguring a certain chromosome in the human genome, the human organism no longer ages. And by administering select amounts of Human Growth Hormone, the effects of aging are reversed. Brian Storm, Dr. Richard Masters, and April Donovan develop an anti-senescence pill. That pill (1) precisely alters one’s genetic structure to immediately stop age-related deterioration and (2) reverses any age-related deterioration that has already occurred. People who ingest this pill transform into immortal beings and their offspring are born physically immortal. Brian, Richard, and April have succeeded. They hold an unpublicized celebration.

Overcoming hostility and rejection: Introduction of Ben Warren, Bob Graham, Joseph Compton, and Margaret Wilson. Brian Storm begins to sell his new anti-aging pill to drug companies and markets this pill to wealthy individuals. People begin to have dramatic results, permanently turning back the negative effects of aging. Margaret Wilson learns about Brian Storm’s success. She forms a crusade against the immortality pill. Margaret stirs up a frenzy of antagonism against Brian and his company. A media campaign tries to stop Brian and his new pill. Ben Warren tries to imprison Brian in a desperate attempt to stop Brian’s great achievement. Bob Graham hires a hit man to assassinate Brian. Organizations form to block the production and distribution of the immortality pill. All attempts fail. Through shrewd business maneuvers, Brian circumvents all opposition. He then convinces the public of the need for his anti-aging pill.

Deliverance: Introduction of Chad Taylor and Lea Parker-Storm. Brian swings into full-scale production and marketing of the anti-aging pill. His company called Transchrome hires corporate manager Chad Taylor and business genius Lea Parker. Millions of adults clamor for the anti-aging pill. Transchrome grows to meet the demand. Business booms. The company does a successful IPO. Brian becomes an instant billionaire. Lea Parker wins Brian’s love. The two marry. They work together to bring youthful immortality to everyone.

Part 3: The Future

A free world: Freedom advocates Bill Warner and Christie Bridges seek Brian’s help to establish a free world. Brian establishes the World Freedom Foundation. The Foundation develops knowledge products and technology that is used to usher in a free world. Politicians are replaced with capitalists worldwide. Countries switch from partial freedom to complete freedom. Religions are phased out in favor of learning centers. Political dishonesties and religious guilt vanish. Each citizen becomes a sovereign entity.

Prosperity for all: The anti-aging pill spreads like wildfire. Everyone working for Transchrome becomes wealthy. Other entrepreneurs take notice and create competing products. They become rich, too. Individuals are now free politically, spiritually, financially, and physically. They quickly exploit their most competitive attributes. Individuals worldwide rise from subsistence living conditions to abundant prosperity. Brian Storm and Lea Parker-Storm develop free-market communities. People around the globe visit these communities to increase knowledge, prosperity, health, romance, and happiness.

Romance forever: With human life prosperous and immortal, people focus on developing high-quality love relationships. They enjoy great romantic adventures with their love partners.

Collecting the reward: Brian and Lea build a vacation home on a private island. They spend months at a time there relaxing, reviewing their successes, and planning new ventures. But most important, they celebrate their life in each other’s arms.
