Trouble Shooting Tips
If the password prompt rejects your username or password, remember:
- The password prompt is case sensitive so input your data exactly as you registered. For example, if your username is Lisa, you need to use capital letters and lowercase letters exactly like that, otherwise the password prompt will reject your entry. If you forgot how your data looks, you can look it up using the appropriate link above.
- Your subscription may have expired. The automated billing system will automatically cancel your account at the end of your subscription. If you are not sure when your account will end, you can look it up using the appropriate link above.
If you have trouble accessing the Local Group website, remember:
- Occasionally the Local Group’s web hosting company works on its servers, which can cause a temporary interference with your attempt to access this site. If you try to access the Local Group website but cannot connect to it, try again a little later. This problem will be corrected when the Local Group has its own dedicated server.
- Sometimes when the Internet is extremely busy, you might have difficulty getting through to www.localgroup.net. For example, when Ken Starr released his Starr Report on the web, millions of people tried accessing it immediately, which slowed down the response time of other sites. This problem will be alleviated as Internet bandwidth increases over time.
