Chapter Eleven
Good-Bye Evil

One technique from the AC System consists of emergencies and then capitalizing on them. Criminal-minded leaders cleverly set up situations so emergencies appear to happen by accident. Then, shrewdly, they move in and seize control over the value producers, their values, and their wealth.

Criminal-minded leaders need to create emergencies. They need to cause problems where no problems exist in order to divert everyone's attention as they forcibly control, usurp, destroy, imprison, and kill.

For example, FDR needed the Great Depression and World War II so he could expand gun-backed control over the economy, businesses, and American lives. With the rise of the C-of-U System, however, criminal-minded leaders, parasitical elites, and professional value destroyers are finished—forever.

Another technique from the AC System that was used by leaders ranging from Julius Caesar to George Bush is to divert public attention with sporting events. Whether it be an event at the Roman Coliseum or Olympic Games or World Series, this technique is devastatingly effective.

While everyone focuses their attention on sporting activities, parasitical elites work their political agendas by skillfully undermining individual rights and quietly jailing or executing the most competitive value producers. After the sporting events are over, the public rarely hears about these unjust court proceedings or constitutional violations that destroy innocent citizens. But with the rise of the C-of-U System, each criminal-minded maneuver only speeds up the demise of the parasitical-elite class and their unstable anticivilization.

Throughout history, criminal-minded people relentlessly attacked honest integrated thinking. Their survival—feeding off professional value producers—depended on blocking integrated thinking in the masses. With religious fraud, government force, and Establishment education, they have done a masterful job of preventing integrated thinking in everyone. Those who slipped through the cracks of the AC System and discovered integrated thinking were simply jailed or executed. Examples include Socrates, Boethius, Harry Helmsley, and Frank R. Wallace.

But today, with the rise of cyberspace, the criminal mind's worst nightmare has become real. Through cyberspace, people around the world are discovering honest integrated thinking to safely exit earth's anticivilization. And criminal-minded attacks cannot stop this dynamic; all such attacks will be reversed for profit and fun.

Powerful people on earth today can be divided into two categories. The first category comprises people with the criminal mind. The second category comprises people with the business mind. The criminal mind flourishes in the non-cyberspace world. The business mind flourishes in cyberspace. While each takes a radically different stance toward life, both use philosophy and both have integrating minds. The following table differentiates these diametrically opposite minds.

Overspecialization—the supreme strategy of the parasitical-elite class—is over 2000 years old. This is a major strategy that is part of the AC System. It enabled criminal-minded rulers to control world populations for millennia without opposition (see The Philosophical Zero by Yasuhiko Kimura).

Several centuries after man discovered consciousness, Plato identified and developed the philosophical matrix of the criminal mind. Plato originated key techniques that comprise the AC System. Shortly afterward, Roman leaders harnessed the false power flowing throughout Plato's works. They used Plato's philosophy to enslave the masses. One specific technique they used is overspecialization.

Roman leaders divided knowledge and the professions into specialized fields that were cut off from the totality of knowledge. By doing this, the leaders blocked everyone from integrating knowledge. The unrestricted integration of knowledge would have enabled citizens to see right through their leaders' false power. Certainly, the leaders controlled the food and money supply in order to make everyone's physical survival dependent on the Establishment. And by dividing knowledge, they were able to conquer everyone.

What about citizens with highly powerful minds? What happened to those who had the potential to see through their leader's Plato-based frauds? How did criminal-minded leaders stop those powerful minds that could potentially collapse the rickety superstructure of false power? Simple. The leaders specialized everyone, especially the geniuses. By locking the mathematical and scientific geniuses into tiny realms of knowledge, all threats were effectively removed. Roman leaders were able to rule for centuries without opposition.

Today, the parasitical-elite class continues to use this master strategy. A close look at the universities reveals that knowledge and careers are divided into increasingly narrower ranges that are cut off from the rest of human knowledge. Overspecialization reigns supreme in today's colleges, universities, careers, and jobs.

Yet, an even closer look at this situation reveals the shrewdness of today's leaders. The leaders recruit the smartest, most intelligent children from grade school and integrate them into the AC System when they are twelve years of age or younger.

For example, today's leaders give tests to grade school children. They identify who the smartest children are based on the test results. Once they identify those children with the most powerful minds, they offer them scholarships and paid summer camps at prestigious universities. Once there, leaders feed the bright children Platonic and Kantian ideas. As those children are guided into dishonest idea systems a la Plato, Kant, Hegel, Marx, and others, they become trapped in a ring of corrupt ideas. By doing this, those who are a potential threat to the AC System are rendered harmless. Moreover, some transmogrify into Establishment servants; they become statist politicians, problem-causing lawyers, liberal journalists, and pseudo intellectuals.

One trait that is common among nearly all criminals is a low tolerance for frustration. Most criminals cannot stand frustration for very long. They will do anything to avoid prolonged frustration: they will lie, cheat, steal—even murder—in order to avoid frustration.

Most ordinary people do not like to tolerate frustration. However, people learn through a process of maturation that frustration is a natural part of life. Ordinary people develop the ability to tolerate frustration and delay gratification. The criminal, by contrast, never matures. Instead, the criminal averts the maturation process and resorts to crime.

Perhaps all human beings are born into the world with a low tolerance for frustration. Through experience and learning, people can and do develop toleration for frustrating situations. Those who do this—those who mature and can withstand normal amounts of frustration—find life much more enjoyable and less upsetting. Moreover, those that volitionally develop a high frustration tolerance can enact an invaluable prosperity mechanism. That prosperity mechanism is the ability to convert severe problems into superb opportunities. Doing this requires that people tolerate frustrating situations to figure out how to honestly turn the situation around and profit from it.

The mystical mind is an aberration of human consciousness. It wallows in irrationality and dishonesty. Yes, it is a destructive mind. And upon close examination, one discovers a startling fact: sooner or later, the mystical mind evolves into the criminal mind.

The mystical mind is based on the premise, "No one knows anything with certainty; therefore, my arbitrary assertions are just as valid as anyone else's claims." The mystical mind then goes on to assert ludicrous notions such as the God concept or the heaven and hell concepts.

After evading reality over a long period of time, the mystical mind evolves into the criminal mind in order to survive. The criminal mind is based on the premise, "I'm great; therefore, I deserve other people's property and life. I can take whatever I want; people owe me because of my greatness." The criminal mind goes on to drain money, values, and human lives through arbitrary laws, regulations, taxation, inflation, initiatory force, threats, and deceit.

What about the specialized mind? The specialized mind is based on the premise, "That's not my concern; I'm only concerned with my one specialized area. I can't be bothered with other areas." The specialized mind rejects integrated thinking and the effort it requires as this mind seeks to remain closed in "comfortable" narrow boundaries.

So, what is the antidote for the mystical mind, the criminal mind, and the specialized mind? The antidote is the honest integrating mind—the perfect mind. The perfect mind easily surpasses the mystical mind, criminal mind, and specialized mind.

Yes, the perfect mind accrues too many advantages to continue using the traditional mind. As people begin to understand this, they will scramble to dump their uncompetitive traditional mind for the godlike mind: the perfect mind.

Most adults know—implicitly if not explicitly—that evil reigns supreme in earth's hideous anticivilization. Yes, evil rules everyone in that mystically insane world. Yet, most people do not want evil to rule their life. So how can people eliminate evil? Can they pass legislation to end evil in the anticivilization? No. Evil is an integral part of the anticivilization. What can people do? They can outcompete evil.

Philosophically, evil is impotent. Evil has no metaphysical power. That's right: evil has no real power. Today, however, evil people run around the globe with guns in their hands to control everyone. What is the solution? Simply outcompete evil. By using reality-based principled thinking, anyone can outcompete evil. As people understand and apply principled thinking, they will—one by one—outcompete evil. Then anticivilization evils such as the IRS, FDA, DEA, INS, SEC, EPA, OSHA, BATF, and other anticivilization nightmares will become obsolete. All livelihoods based on initiatory force and threat of force will become uncompetitive and extinct.

Everyone knows that Socrates was put to death. People also know that Socrates was not guilty of objective crimes. Criminal-minded people put Socrates to death to protect their bogus livelihoods. They also put Socrates to death to set an example: the criminal mind rules earth and anyone who challenges the criminal mind or its anticivilization will be murdered under the guise of "law".

The criminal mind also murdered Jesus, Boethius, Joan of Arc, Galileo, Giordano Bruno, and Algernon Sidney. Today, the criminal mind has attacked, jailed, or destroyed Leona Helmsley, Harry Helmsley, Michael Milken, and Stew Leonard. The criminal mind seems omnipotent, like nothing can challenge it.

But today, for the first time in history, the benevolent spirit of Socrates is rising anew—this time forever. The perfect mind has arrived. Yes, the reality-integrating mind has arrived on planet Earth. And against the perfect mind, all traditional minds—mystical minds, criminal minds, and specialized minds—are finished.

Today, criminal minds—who directly murdered giants such as Socrates and indirectly killed everyone else—are uncompetitive. With the discovery of the perfect mind, anyone can outcompete the traditional mind.

Thus, the justice that Socrates courageously searched for and tragically died for will prevail on planet Earth. That will come in the form of rational laws and impartial justice. Civilization on earth will advance through Natural Law: law that is based on reality and man's nature. Everyone can understand such law; it prosecutes the value destroyers while protecting the value producers.

Genuine power is unknown to most adults on planet Earth. Yet, genuine power rules the universe. Stated concisely, genuine power consists of principled thinking and principled actions. Because genuine power is free of irrationality and dishonesty, it delivers endless values, jobs, money, and prosperity to conscious beings. Today, people are just beginning to discover genuine power.

But young children unknowingly wield genuine power. They are not yet corrupted with anticivilization impurities. Thus, they are free from anticivilization absurdities ranging from the God concept to political-correct attacks on super-competitive individuals.

In the anticivilization, criminal-minded people propagate illusions and dishonesty. Those life-destroying agents push malignant hoaxes on innocent children while prosecuting individuals who refuse to abide by such absurdities. Criminal-minded people infect all children with fatal mysticism. This ensures the criminal mind an unchallenged future of usurpation and destruction.

What should a person do? Can a person really eliminate criminal minds from planet Earth? If a person tries to eliminate criminal minds, new ones will pop up to replace the eliminated ones. Instead, a person needs to vanquish the criminal mind's life support: the AC System.

Actually, a person cannot dismantle the AC System. But a person can displace it, somewhat like displacing water in a glass by inserting pebbles. As the C-of-U System comes to planet Earth, the AC System will vanish, never to return. Then criminal-minded leaders and all their supporters will face a life-or-death decision. Either they become honest, productive human beings or they prey on each other until criminal-minded people become extinct.

About three millennia ago, mankind switched from a prehistoric hallucinating mentality to a modern conscious mentality. Before that switch, man was unconscious and amoral. He did not possess volition; he could not consciously choose to be good or evil. However, after man evolved into consciousness, he could choose to be good or evil.

A few centuries after mankind evolved into consciousness, the Greek philosopher Plato formulated a complete philosophical system—earth's first written philosophical system. Plato's teacher, Socrates, probably was the first to formulate a complete philosophical system. However, Socrates never recorded his philosophy in writing. Thus, Plato produced the first written philosophical system on earth (see Neo-Tech Advantage #103).

Plato's unprecedented genius and creativity gave him a significant advantage over his peers. He had the capacity to outdo his competitors in formulating a philosophical system. Plato, like everyone else, also had the ability to choose to be moral or immoral. He chose to be immoral.

Plato integrated good-sounding rationalizations, non sequiturs, 'noble lies', and myths into a cunning philosophy. His philosophy justifies the use of initiatory force and fraud against citizens of a state. While Plato deliberated over the ruling class of his ideal state, he gave little or no thought to the productive class. And Plato knew what he was doing: he sacrificed the productive class to the ruling elite.

What came of Plato's philosophy? His work gave birth to a parasitical-elite class. Those elite leaders—along with Plato's guardian class—have the "authorization" to expropriate values and wealth from the productive class. They have the "right" to control and drain productive people throughout the world. Today, the parasitical-elite class rules life on earth via the AC System: harmful political agendas, specious regulations, subjective laws, coercive threats, non-objective justice, federal prison camps, and cemeteries.

How could such a dynamic exist? The answer is through bogus epistemology. Plato conjured up a bizarre epistemology or method of thinking. He divided reality into two parts: this world and the world of Forms. He said that perfect things, such as truth and beauty, exist in the world of Forms—not in this imperfect world in which everyone lives. And Plato states that only those with superior intuition have access to the perfect world of Forms. Ordinary men and women lack the intuition needed to access the realm of the Forms. Therefore, Plato concludes, citizens need elite rulers with superior intuitions to direct the activities of the state.

A few centuries later, some people saw the "opportunity" inherent in this philosophy. Those people integrated Plato's philosophy with religion, which culminated in Roman Catholicism. That threw the western world into the Dark Ages for a thousand years. Crucial knowledge was buried as criminal-minded leaders took control of the western world. Those leaders promulgated good-sounding concepts such as God, sacrifice, and the common good. But, those well-camouflaged criminal minds wanted nothing more than to live off the efforts of the productive class.

Plato worked hard to produce a tremendous amount of written material. However, because of his irrationality and dishonesty, his philosophy is basically anti-intellectual. Even so, governments and religions for the past two thousand years have implicitly used Plato's philosophy, which justifies the use of initiatory force and fraud.

How can a person aggressively cause the demise of mysticism? Easy. A person can use the three-step process described below.

1. Identify a mystical attack when used against self.


2. Nullify the mystical attack.


3. Reverse the mystical attack to gain—rather than lose—values.

Why reverse mystical attacks? One reverses mystical attacks to end mysticism. As more people reverse attacks from professional mystics, the techniques of mysticism will become uncompetitive. Eventually, mystics will not be able to survive by manipulating mysticism. They will have to become genuine value producers or commit suicide.

The following is an example of profiting from the demise of mysticism. Imagine that a man knows a woman who is troubled. Then imagine a friend tells this man he should go see the troubled woman and take her out and give her support. This man's friend manipulates him into going to help the troubled woman by subtly making him feel guilty if he does not help the troubled woman.

This man feels so guilty because he does not have time to help the troubled woman. But the friend makes this man feel like he is obligated to help the troubled woman. The result is the man becomes paralyzed by guilt.

While feeling guilty, the man asks himself, "Why do I feel guilty?" Then he thinks about the situation and realizes he has not forced or deceived anyone. He knows he has nothing to feel guilty about. Then this man realizes that his friend has manipulated him into feeling guilty. Helping others who are troubled sounds good. But he realizes that if his friend really wanted the troubled woman to be helped, his friend would go help her. Everything clicks. This man's friend has just used a technique of mysticism: manipulating vulnerable emotions by using guilt.

As soon as he identifies this situation as a mystical attack, he immediately nullifies it. He does not cede one iota to mysticism. He stands firm on rational principles, which causes the attacker to squirm. Then he reverses the attack.

This man realizes that his friend is using a technique of mysticism. He also realizes that retaliation is perfectly moral. He agrees with his friend that helping the troubled woman is a good idea. Then he tells his friend that he will go see the troubled woman and take her to dinner to work through her problems...provided that this friend provides a car and pays for dinner.

His friend will probably think this is unfair. Why should his friend provide this man with a car and money for dinner? This man does not say anything. If his friend wants him to do something good for someone else, then his friend is going to have to pay for it. His friend probably will back off; his friend probably will leave this man alone and go pick on someone that can be easily manipulated.

But there is a chance this man's friend will pay for dinner. If so, this man should profit as much as possible. This man should drive his friend's car wherever he wants; he should also pick an expensive restaurant. The man does this not to gain unearned values; he does this to drain those who use the techniques of mysticism. As professional mystics are increasingly drained, they will vanish from planet Earth, never to return.

What are professional clowns? They are human beings that have tapped into the AC System first identified by Plato and then developed by Augustine, Machiavelli, Kant, Hegel, Marx, Keynes, Galbraith, and others. Professional clowns have figured out that by removing the essence of human beings—productive effort—they can usurp their way to unearned power, prosperity, and prestige. The essence of human beings always was and always will be productive effort: producing more values than one consumes. But those who consume far more values than they produce lose their humanity. They destroy their human nature and become humanoid clowns.

Such self-made clowns survive by creating chaos. That chaos arises from an endless stream of illusions and deception. As those illusions obscure the minds of human beings, humanoid clowns move in with force-backed agents to drain productive people everywhere. And those illusions make the draining of value producers appear necessary, moral, legal, and just.

In reality, initiating force cannot benefit anyone, despite good-sounding utterances by Establishment intellectuals. Those who live by initiating force, threats, or fraud are criminals and murderers—plain and simple. All such humanoid clowns survive by undercutting objective law in order to violate individual rights.

Professional politicians, armed bureaucrats, political prosecutors, Establishment lawyers, biased judges, some academe, many journalists, high-ranking clerics, and fake businesspeople are professional clowns. They use the AC System to usurp ever-greater chunks of money and power from the only person with real power: the honest, value-producing individual—from the landscape gardener to the computer software mogul.

By integrating dishonest notions, professional clowns steadily increase their destruction on everyone. But individuals who develop the non-mystical perfect mind can easily spot the professional clown, regardless if he is a local con artist or an international politico. And once one spots the professional clown, one can quickly eliminate the clown from one's life.

One can eliminate professional clowns from one's life by threatening to expose the clown's actual nature to his or her community, peers, family—even to the clown's own self. The clown escalates value usurpation and destruction via false power. Therefore, the clown must shun objective reality. Like Dracula avoids being exposed to sunlight, the clown avoids being exposed to objective reality and genuine accountability. But the professional clown cannot run away from reality. Now, with the Perfect Mind/Perfect Body breakthrough, the clown's only choice is to become a net producer of values or cease to exist.

In prehistoric times, man was unconscious and amoral. In the anticivilization, man is conscious. With the faculty of consciousness, man can choose to be moral or immoral. Some men choose to be moral; others choose to be immoral. Because the anticivilization is based on mysticism, certain people can cultivate tremendous long-range advantages by being immoral. These people have criminal minds.

People such as Alexander Hamilton, Abraham Lincoln, John Sherman, Woodrow Wilson, and Bill Clinton have well-camouflaged criminal minds. They all exemplify the Superior Being attitude revealed in Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment. All such criminal minds easily commit objective crimes, including murder, to perpetuate their false egos and destructive livelihoods. Any of these criminal minds would gladly start a war or kill Hitler/Mao-style in order to protect their unearned livelihoods. Using reality-based principled thinking, one sees that all such people survive not by producing values others would voluntarily purchase, but by creating chaos, suffering, and death.

Today, with the discovery of the perfect mind and body, the criminal mind faces unprecedented competition. And with the rise of Advanced Man, the criminal mind will have to compete for survival. Here is why:

Illusions, dishonesty, and physical force have ruled planet Earth for the last three thousand years. And during the last two thousand years, organized deception and initiatory force have ruled everyone in the form of coercive governments and fraudulent religions. During those dark times, the criminal mind basically had zero competition for power, wealth, and sex. Thus, the criminal mind easily connived and batter-rammed its way to power—to immense usurped power. No one could compete with the malignant criminal mind. Such a mind literally controlled life on earth. Tremendous death and destruction resulted.

At the close of the second millennium AD, the criminal mind's competition has arisen. That competition is Advanced Man: men and women with perfect minds and bodies. And that ultra competitive being is radically different from anything else in the anticivilization. In fact, Advanced Man is not part of the anticivilization. Advanced Man is part of the Civilization of the Universe.

Today, the criminal mind holds power in the anticivilization, ranging from Washington DC, to London, to Berlin, to Moscow, to Beijing, to Tokyo. The criminal mind survives by forcing individuals to follow its edicts and sacrifice earned wealth and happiness. What is really happening here? The criminal mind is enslaving billions of people so a small clique of criminal minds can prosper without producing objective values.

Enter Advanced Man. Free of mysticism and functioning via reality-based principled thinking, Advanced Man is unbeatable. Such an evolved being soars high above Mt. Olympus and sees far beyond the mythical Gods. With an Olympian eye and Herculean powers, Advanced Man (1) chains the criminal mind to vivid accountability and (2) publicly displays the criminal mind's harmful actions. Then, as the world understands the destructive nature of the criminal mind and its hoaxes, individuals will dismiss the criminal mind forever. Due to survival pressures, the criminal mind will be forced into earning its survival rather than usurping its survival.

Never before has the criminal mind had to earn its survival, much less be concerned about competition. But today it faces something from beyond earth's anticivilization: Advanced Man. As people evolve into Advanced Man, they will capture unprecedented prosperity and happiness. These individuals will set the trend everyone else emulates. Those who want prosperity and happiness will evolve. And they will eventually capture enormous earned power and wealth. That trend will escalate. Eventually, all criminal-minded dynamics will become uncompetitive. Attempting to usurp a livelihood will be futile, even laughable. At that point, the criminal mind will break down and face the life-or-death decision to become productive or perish.

Soon, perhaps early in the third millennium, many people will have perfect minds and bodies. Individuals, families, businesses, societies, and nations will flourish. Then the criminal mind will be an artifact of history, like a lost city buried beneath the earth's surface.

Criminality is the source of intentional value destruction. The source of criminality is dishonest integrated thinking. But, dishonesty requires mysticism and irrationality. When people are infected with irrationality and mysticism, the criminal mind can move in and commit crimes, often with impunity. Sometimes the criminal mind is praised while it orchestrates tremendous destruction, as was Lenin, Hitler, and Mao.

One might think mysticism is the most fundamental aspect of evil. But, what underlies mysticism? As identified by Neo-Tech, laziness and dishonesty underlie mysticism. Laziness and dishonesty combine to form mystical notions that let a person survive—even prosper—without exerting commensurate effort. Such a person simply conjures up specious scenarios to deceive others and drain values.

On further analysis, one discovers that laziness, not dishonesty, is the root of all evil. Why? A person first has to succumb to laziness. This person has to avoid exerting effort. Yet life is motion; a person cannot survive by remaining inert. Conscious beings must achieve values to sustain life. And achieving values requires effort, sometimes a great deal of effort.

A lazy person eventually realizes that not doing much threatens his or her survival. This person has to attain values—at least food, clothing, and shelter—to survive. Then, due to survival pressures, the lazy person figures out how to wangle values from others. How? By using dishonesty, this person cleverly extracts values, wealth, love, esteem, power—whatever he or she can get—from unsuspecting individuals.

Thus, dishonesty is driven by laziness. Such a person is simply too lazy to earn values through his or her own productive effort. This person chooses to deceive, defraud, or coerce others in order to extract their values. To be sure, most people would not easily give up their hard-earned values to dishonest persons. This is where mysticism comes in. Lazy people want and need mysticism; they survive by the mysticism forced into everyone's mind from every angle. Lazy people discover dishonest integrated thinking. And they desperately need and greatly profit from the irrationality and non sequiturs imbued in everyone's head.

When people are fettered by mysticism, lazy people can skillfully manipulate mystical notions to usurp values from nearly everyone. Kings, popes, presidents, and heads of state implicitly understood this. They understood that the laziness/dishonesty/mysticism triage was an unbeatable combination for vast unearned power, wealth, and sex. Even the very few honest political leaders, e.g., Thomas Jefferson and Alan Greenspan, sensed that almost-too-easy route to mind-staggering power. Those few honest, effort-driven leaders implicitly sensed these dynamics and avoided increasing their own personal power at the expense of innocent citizens. Unfortunately, dishonest leaders—such as Pol Pot and Fidel Castro—sensed these same dynamics and aggressively utilized them. They actively advanced their own personal power and ego-agendas by exploiting the laziness/dishonesty/mysticism triage. Thus, these dishonest people advanced their careers by harming human beings and society.

The root of all evil—intentional murder, value destruction, and economic devastation—comes down to laziness. A person either chooses effort or laziness. Those who choose effort will take the necessary actions to earn the values required for survival and prosperity. Those who choose laziness will rely on dishonesty to usurp the values required for survival and prosperity.

If laziness is the root of all evil, then productive effort is the root of all good. To be sure, exerting productive effort is never automatic or easy.

Why use the word productive in front of the word effort? There are two different types of effort: productive effort and destructive effort. All honest inventors, entrepreneurs, businesspeople, artists, teachers, and workers exert productive effort. By contrast, all dishonest politicians, bureaucrats, theologians, lawyers, and Establishment intellectuals exert destructive effort. This is an important distinction because destroying values requires effort, albeit much less effort than producing values.

Productive effort is the root of all values such as material prosperity, love, and happiness, as well as advancements in science, technology, civilization, and human longevity. In fact, productive effort is the fountainhead of conscious life. Without this effort, conscious life would perish.

Consider the nature of destructive effort. Look at the destructive effort exerted by Adolf Hitler. He destroyed humans, property, money, laws, government, businesses, and society. If left unchecked, he would have murdered all productive people—especially the Jews—in his quest to advance his bogus livelihood and boost his pseudo self-esteem. His destruction spanned much of Europe. The logical yet horrifying conclusion of his destructive effort would be a nuclear wipeout of all conscious life. Yet, even this mass destruction requires far less effort than does building entire nations.

If productive effort is the root of all good, why do people strive to avoid it? The answer is that productive effort requires sustained energy, thought, and action from each individual. Because individuals have volition, they can choose to exert productive effort, default to laziness, or exert destructive effort. In the anticivilization, most people exhibit a mixture of productive effort and laziness. Some people exert destructive effort—such as bank robbers, computer-virus creators, child abductors, armed bureaucrats, and mass-murdering politicos.

Choosing to exert productive effort means that individuals have to exercise their mental and physical faculties to overcome problems on the path to value creation. Producing values for self and others is the most difficult activity in which a person can engage. It is also what sustains and advances human life.

The unfortunate but logically correct fact is that productive effort is not fashionable in the anticivilization. Status-quo protectors scorn, attack, imprison, and sometimes murder highly productive individuals. Such protectors must destroy productivity; their livelihoods depend on it. Why? If left unchecked, highly productive individuals would—without intentionally trying—expose the souls of evil. The world populations would clearly see who is productive versus who is destructive. Then everyone would scorn and ostracize evil people.

Just who are the status-quo protectors? They include all politicians, popes, dictators, bureaucratic commissioners, morally corrupt lawyers and prosecutors, politically driven judges, armed bureaucrats, progress-blocking businesspeople, liberal journalists, mind-stunting professors, and certain celebrities. Without status-quo protectors, stagnation, crime, poverty, sickness, unhappiness, and death would vanish from planet Earth. But since everyone has lifelong investments in the anticivilization, no one is willing to trade his or her lethal investments for a world without status-quo protectors. Why? Because everyone implicitly senses or explicitly understands that without status-quo protectors and the hoaxed anticivilization, every man and woman would be 100% accountable for his or her actions. Even honest, productive human beings living in earth's anticivilization implicitly fear this full accountability.

Who are destructive people? Who are productive people? Before answering those questions, one needs to answer the following questions: What is evil? What is good?

Evil is anything that harms human life. Good is anything that advances human life. Using mystic-free principled thinking, the difference between good and evil becomes easily identifiable. Destructive people are those whose words and deeds harm human beings and their societies. And productive people are those whose words and deeds benefit human beings and their societies. The key here is that human life is the standard of value.

With such an understanding, one can quickly identify destructive people and productive people. This is a major value for oneself because such identifications literally mean the difference between life and death. Unknowingly allowing destructive people into one's life can at best waste one's irreplaceable resources. At worst, such an oversight can prematurely end one's life.

Self-protection is a major value in sustaining human life. A moral government's role is to provide protective services to its citizens. This kind of government protects an individual's body, property, and legal contracts. But even with a moral government, self-protection is valuable.

The criminal mind preys on human beings. It can and does operate despite government. In fact, some government employees are criminal-minded.

An individual can maximize self-protection by developing the perfect mind and body. That mind and body enables the individual to conceptually integrate all facts into breathtaking principles and then consistently act on reality. Those who develop the perfect mind and body will soar above the criminal mind and its destruction.

Whatever the particular situation, the criminal mind must stop its victim from thinking. Whether through overt force or disorienting the victim's thinking, the criminal mind needs its victim to surrender self-thinking. Once the victim surrenders his own thought processes, the victim will obey the criminal. For instance, a criminal holds a gun to a victim and tells the victim to hand over all his money. The victim mechanically hands over his wallet filled with cash and credit cards. The gun, i.e., force, stops the victim from thinking. In place of thinking, the victim obeys the commands of the criminal. Or, as another example, the IRS tells citizens to hand over 25% of their income. IRS agents proffer an endless array of non sequiturs and rationalizations as to why citizens must hand over their earned wealth. Those non sequiturs and rationalizations leave everyone confused about what is right and wrong. Then people pay taxes even if they are not sure if taxation is moral or immoral.

Individuals who have developed the perfect mind and body can quickly determine what is really happening in any circumstance. Such people do not automatically react to situations; they exert the requisite effort to clearly understand what is occurring. They figure out the most advantageous thing to do in any given situation. Then they act on their own reality-based conceptual thoughts.

The greatest protective advantages arise from the perfect mind because it has a limitless capacity for thinking. The mystical and criminal mind must evade reality; that is their nature. Thus, eventually, these traditional minds reach the limits of non-reality. When that happens, all such people become trapped in a dead-end. But the perfect mind always advances in valid knowledge and real power. By integrating reality honestly, this mind never runs into boundaries. The traditional mind is, by its nature, a limited mind. But the perfect mind keeps integrating into ever-wider realms of reality. Such new knowledge gives the individual super power—a power that lets the individual advance far beyond the reach of mystics and criminals.

A valuable distinction one can make regarding competitive situations is between competition and opposition. In competitive situations, one has people that compete against oneself and people that oppose oneself.

Using business as an example, one's company and other companies vie for prospects within the same market. One's business competes with similar businesses by offering better products, lower prices, and superior customer service to prospects. This, in essence, is what competition is about.

One's opposition does not compete with oneself. One's opposition exists solely to block oneself, to harm oneself, or to make sure that one does not succeed. And if one does succeed, one's opposition will work to undermine that success. This is the nature of opposition. It is not concerned with honestly competing against oneself like one's competitors. The opposition acts pragmatically to make sure one is hindered or ruined. This, in essence, is what opposition is about.

In certain cases, such as in a newly discovered field, one may not yet have competition or opposition. But as one begins succeeding, one can be certain that others will take notice of one's success. Some people—those who are effort-driven—will choose to compete with oneself, believing that if oneself can succeed, they too can succeed. Other people—those who are envy-driven—will choose to oppose oneself, believing that if they can destroy oneself, they are superior to oneself.

Competition and opposition are a real part of life in the anticivilization. Envy is at the base of societies in the anticivilization. Criminal-minded leaders cash in on this situation by inciting envy toward successful individuals and businesses. Envy enables criminal-minded leaders to use the "law"—subjective law—to control, drain, and destroy the good. Thus, the bad—the criminal minds—rise to the top of the anticivilization while the good—the super successful producers—fall into ruin, prison, or death.

The Civilization of the Universe is competition-driven. Opposition probably is uncommon. In the Civilization of the Universe, people cannot profit from initiating force or fraud. The inescapable accountability of the Civilization of the Universe prevents people from destroying each other. In the Civilization of the Universe, no incentive exists to destroy human beings.

Understanding the distinction between competition and opposition is useful in the anticivilization. Those who do not acknowledge that they have competition probably will be blind-sided by the competition. And those who do not acknowledge or are not aware of their opposition will at best be set back by their opposition; at worst they will be wiped out by their opposition.

One of the most obvious aspects of earth's anticivilization is people's confusion about what is good and bad. This is not surprising. In The Republic, Plato defined the good as every person doing his or her assigned job. This definition totally misses the point.

Plato's philosophy underpins earth's anticivilization. His work permeates today's world just as it has throughout much of history. Not surprisingly, many people are confused about the concepts Plato described—concepts such as truth, beauty, justice, and the good.

In reality, the good is anything that advances human life. Evil is anything that harms human life. The standard for judging whether something is good or evil is human life. To determine if something is good or bad, one needs to ask and answer the question, "When put in full context, does this thing improve or destroy man's life?" Such a question applies to actions, people, laws, institutions, and everything else.

An important distinction regarding good and evil is this: good and evil can only come from a volitional consciousness, i.e., human beings. Inanimate objects, plants, and all other animals cannot be good or evil; they simply are what they are and do what they do. No rock, tree, or gorilla, for example, could conceive a scenario and then volitionally deceive, swindle, or kill with evil intent. Only human beings can volitionally choose to cheat, rob, or kill other human beings. Therefore, only human beings can be evil.

The same also applies to the good. Only human beings could volitionally choose to develop themselves so they can competitively produce products and services that benefit other people.

Many people innocently misunderstand the nature of evil. Upon encountering evil acts, people tend to rationalize evil by saying the perpetrator was mentally disturbed, had a bad childhood, or other such rationalizations. These and other sound-good rationalizations prevent people from understanding the unchanging nature of evil. That unchanging nature is the intentional—volitional—destruction of the good.

Good people do not like the thought that some people purposely deceive, destroy, and murder. That thought can be frightening, especially to vulnerable people such as naïve children or delicate females. Yet the fact is, evil comes from a person's choice to be evil; it comes from a person's decision to defraud, plunder, destroy, murder. More disconcerting is the fact that anyone can choose to be evil anytime. No one is immune from committing evil acts. Moreover, a person can be overtly evil like common criminals or covertly evil like scheming political leaders.

Once one understands the unchanging nature of evil—that a person chooses to destroy the good—one can defend oneself from evil. How? By being conscious of the dynamics of evil, one can avoid situations where evil people can harm oneself.

Throughout the history of conscious man, faith and force have ruled everyone. No other dynamic arose to challenge or compete with these two dynamics. Today, however, things are different.

What is different today? People are beginning to evolve into Advanced Man: men and women with perfect minds and bodies. This evolution threatens the future of faith and force.

With the rise of Advanced Man, faith and force become non-competitive. Rather than ruling everyone's life, people will increasingly see faith as ridiculous. And, rather than draining everyone's life, initiatory force will be morally and legally prohibited.

The result? Faith and force will shrink into insignificance as competitive business dynamics overtake earth's anticivilization. Unfettered business in cyberspace will increasingly dominate life on earth. This will leave faith and force confined to the pre-cyberspace world. As cyberspace reaches across the globe and into everyone's life, the pre-cyberspace world will grow smaller and smaller. Eventually, the pre-cyberspace world—with its faith, force, dishonesty, and injustice—will shrink into insignificance and then into nothing. At that point, everyone on planet Earth will live in a rational world: a business-based civilization.

The mystical mind has used faith to manipulate people, most notably through religious frauds. "You just have to believe," espouse religionists. "Send your money to God, but use my address," they say. Yet, anyone who discovers reality-based principled thinking will see that religion and God are colossal frauds used to drain value producers of their earned wealth and happiness. Moreover, most people embrace such religious/God hoaxes in order to be accepted in a mystically insane anticivilization. Those who reject such hoaxes become ostracized from the anticivilization. But, ironically, this is the best thing that can happen to any Citizen of Earth.

For three millennia, the criminal mind has used force to usurp values and wealth in order to survive. By forcefully enslaving entire nations, professional parasites and their followers can live premium lifestyles without producing values for others. Force is the key to the parasites' material survival. They easily abandon moral and legal principles when they feel the urge to initiate force against innocent citizens. Their life depends on force-backed usurpation; they pragmatically roll over individual rights on their way to unearned lifestyles.

But today, all that is changing. Advanced Man has arisen to battle faith and force. Armageddon is upon Traditional Man. With wide-open cyberspace competition, Advanced Man will inexorably prevail over faith and force.

Throughout history, mystics and criminal-minded people have conjured up and promulgated the God concept. They gain various benefits by doing this. Those benefits range from controlling other people to usurping power, money, and property.

The whole idea of God is that he is a transcendental being: a supernatural being that mystically transcends the laws of physics. Mystics advance the notion that God is exempt from universal natural laws. They say God is above or beyond the laws of nature. Some proclaim that God is the creator of the universe and, thus, creator of natural laws. Others assert—without a coherent explanation—that God is exempt from cause and effect.

Thus, a fundamental aspect of God is that he is exempt from universal laws; he is above Natural Law. Now, an interesting comparison arises in connection with Establishment leaders and the age-old God concept. What is that comparison?

Leaders of earth's anticivilization—criminal-minded people epitomized by politicians, armed bureaucrats, and Establishment lawyers—try to play God. Upon understanding what they really are doing, one becomes amazed. Criminal-minded leaders conjure up endless politically inspired laws—subjective laws that have no rational link to reality or the nature of man. One only needs to peruse the seventeen-thousand-pages of arbitrary/contradictory laws and regulations of just one Establishment bureaucracy—the IRS—to see how subjective law proliferates in the anticivilization.

Those leaders, upon conjuring up political-agenda laws, make themselves exempt from the very laws they impose with guns on innocent, productive citizens. Criminal-minded leaders make laws and immediately make themselves immune to such laws! Of course: they do this to "legally" control and live off the efforts of productive citizens. They inherently know their laws are contradictory and unfair. Thus, they make sure they are not hindered by such impediments.

But one needs to step back and take a broader look at what these criminal-minded leaders are doing. They are playing the role of God. They are putting themselves above/beyond the law. In reality, however, no one can violate objective natural laws. Every person and thing operates within the universal laws of nature. So, criminal-minded leaders fabricate subjective political-policy laws that have nothing to do with universal natural laws. Then, those criminal leaders put themselves above such subjective laws, which gives them an air of omnipotence. They take on God-like characteristics of being able to soar above others below them, chained to earth via an entanglement of political-agenda laws.

Criminal leaders soar God-like above the earthbound masses. In this way, criminal leaders can fake superiority and bolster their pseudo self-esteem.

Man has been groping for God throughout the ages. Man has tried to make contact with God and even role-play God. But now, for the first time in history, man is evolving into his highest form: an advanced, God-like being with unprecedented attributes. That being is Advanced Man. And Advanced Man is an extraordinarily powerful, super intelligent, beautiful, healthy, rich, and happy being who not only controls his own life, but controls the universe.

At certain points throughout history, breakthrough knowledge totally overturned conventional paradigms. Radically new knowledge in astronomy, physics, mathematics, philosophy, and so on obliterated old truths, popular dogmas, and socially accepted protocols. Right now, everyone on earth faces a gigantic societal shift, although most people are not aware of this coming transformation.

The radically new breakthrough knowledge that is overturning the status quo is Objectivist philosophy and Neo-Tech. Those dynamics are now causing a major shift in the world. And, they will continue to move this world until the anticivilization has permanently yielded to the Civilization of the Universe.

Such breakthrough knowledge—which was discovered, developed, and disseminated by Ayn Rand, Leonard Peikoff, and Frank R. Wallace—will affect essentially every aspect of conscious life. Objectivism and Neo-Tech will dramatically affect politics, government, religion, the media, education, business, finance, communications, the arts, and personal relationships. Such all-encompassing knowledge also marks the end of the criminal mind.

The end of the criminal mind? How could that be? The criminal mind has ruled human life for three millennia. Why will the criminal mind cease to exist?

Today, as throughout history, the criminal mind controls all religions and governments. Thus, the criminal mind rules everyone on earth. The products of the criminal mind are losses, suffering, and death. In reality, the criminal mind offers no values to human beings; it offers only devastation.

But this newly arising knowledge leaves every man and woman responsible for his or her own words and actions. Self-discipline, self-responsibility, and self-accountability will become the new survival/prosperity protocols. No one will be able to escape his or her words and deeds. Objectivism and Neo-Tech—combined with computerized dossiers—guarantee this.

That marks the end of the criminal mind and its anticivilization. Everyone—including criminal-minded people—will be fully accountable for their actions. With forthcoming objective law and valid justice, everyone will get exactly what they deserve, for good or bad. Gone will be the days of professional usurpation, parasitism, initiatory force, coercion, and fraud.

In such an environment where no one can profit from force and fraud, crime becomes uncompetitive. Even grand-scale crime—epitomized by Adolf Hitler—becomes uncompetitive upon the release of this new knowledge. With the worldwide protection of individual rights, each individual:

1. Rapidly identifies his or her most profitable attributes


2. Develops those attributes to commercially successful levels


3. Earns limitless prosperity free from parasitical usurpation

As individuals armed with this new knowledge prosper through their own thinking and actions, they will leave the criminal mind behind forever. Eventually, to survive, criminal-minded people will have to abandon their force-backed agendas. They will become competitively productive members of society...or perish upon the release of computerized dossiers and cyberspace reputation networks.

What are external authorities? They are spurious leaders who cash in on Traditional Man's primitive urge for external guidance.

Anyone who evolves into Advanced Man sees right through the hoax of external authorities. In most cases, external authorities are nothing more than clever people who manipulate sophisticated illusions that let them live without producing objective values. Just how do they survive without producing values that others would voluntarily purchase? They operate from the age-old matrix of mysticism and dishonesty. That matrix puts them above everyone in order to guide the masses that lack "innate knowledge" or "superior instincts". Then, after setting themselves up as higher authorities in government, religion, education, the media, and certain businesses, they dole out self-serving commands. Sadly, many people accept and act on the commands of external authorities. Most people never grasp the colossal 3000-year-old hoax.

But now, with the Perfect Mind/Perfect Body breakthrough, any person can see through the hoax of external authorities—immediately and clearly. Every external authority needs the individual to default on his responsibility to think clearly and act from his own thinking. In fact, external authorities relentlessly subvert the conscious mind so they can "guide" others. But in reality, all such external "guidance" contradicts the nature of volitional conscious beings. External "guidance" invariably undercuts the individual's capacity to prosper and achieve lasting happiness. Prosperity and happiness come from the rational, productive use of one's own conscious mind.

In the popular movie The Wizard of Oz, everyone is afraid of the wizard: the external authority who delivers edicts from above. The smoke, lights, projected image, and commanding voice puts everyone into a state of primeval submission. Everyone, that is, except Dorothy's dog Toto. The dog sees feet behind a curtain and pulls the curtain open. When everyone sees that the imposing wizard is nothing more than a small man orchestrating a gigantic hoax, their fear turns to anger. They were tricked into an obedient mode, which is vital for all external authorities ranging from Julius Caesar, to Pope Paul V, to Napoleon, to Lenin, to Pope Pius XII, to many of today's establishment leaders and authorities.

Evolving into the perfect mind and perfect body is like pulling open the curtain on all external authorities—ancient and modern. One suddenly understands the ploy of controlling Traditional Man. That ploy has existed for three thousand years. But today, for the first time in history, anyone with an intact brain and body can evolve into Advanced Man to have a super mind and body. As soon as one ascends from Traditional Man to Advanced Man, one leaves external authorities behind forever. Those with a perfect mind and body are just too powerful to be controlled by anyone. Instead, they control their own life and reality through wide-open principled thinking and continuous productive action.

What are these opposing minds? These minds are the business mind and the criminal mind. They are antithetical to each other. The business mind generates values while the criminal mind destroys values. Andrew Carnegie and Bill Gates epitomize the business mind. Al Capone and Adolf Hitler epitomize the criminal mind.

Just how do these opposing minds evolve? How does a person end up with either one of these minds? The business mind is the inevitable result of consistently exerting productive effort. The criminal mind is the inevitable result of consistently defaulting to laziness.

The above seven stages reveal, in principle, the evolution of opposing minds. They do not, however, reveal any specific application. For instance, a criminal-minded individual might decide to become a life-draining politician or a wealth-draining bureaucrat. Or, a business-minded individual might decide to become a life-generating physician or a wealth-generating entrepreneur.

The ancient Greek philosopher Plato is the father of the criminal mind. The ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle is the father of the business mind.

Plato showed men how to build non-contextual rationalizations in order to plunder individuals and commit injustices against society. Ironically, Plato proffered his teachings as the epitome of justice and the good. Using Plato's philosophy, certain people throughout history have drained, plundered, and destroyed their way to the top of society. How? Using the ploy of a "higher good" or the "common good", such people usurped and destroyed their way to the top; they built clever rationalizations needed to justify their harmful actions. These good-sounding rationalizations distort reality and confuse everyone.

Aristotle showed men how to understand reality through a process of non-contradictory identification. That process is called logic. And Aristotle is the father of logic. Aristotle correctly asserted that man perceives reality through his sense organs, e.g., eyes and ears, and man comes to know things through reason. Aristotelian logic is a deductive form of reasoning, which is used to determine if a thing is true or false. Aristotle also taught men that self-interest is good: man should strive to fulfill his rational needs and achieve happiness.

Thus, Aristotle provided men with the tools to identify reality so they could competently deal with reality to produce goods and services (see Neo-Tech Advantage #103). Plus, Aristotle's ethics of self-interest support the production of values and the generation of wealth, which enable individuals to become self-sufficient and genuinely happy.

Unfortunately, Aristotle never developed a consistent, valid political position. He lived during the Agricultural Age in which no one could understand or defend a laissez-faire capitalist system. Thus, even though Aristotle's positions on logic and ethics are valid, he lacked the historical precedence needed to develop a rational theory and defense of capitalism.

Plato's philosophy soon overtook Aristotle's philosophy as Aristotle's work was buried in the Western World for more than a millennium. Plato's philosophy of mysticism, sacrifice, and collectivism gave leaders the intellectual base they needed to advance harmful political agendas. The Western World collapsed into the Dark ages for a millennium...until Thomas Aquinas reintroduced Aristotelian philosophy in the West. The spreading of Aristotle's philosophy caused the West to awaken from its 1000-year slumber. Mankind partially broke free from the shackles of mysticism and sacrifice. Science, business, and civilization flourished from the Renaissance to the Enlightenment, which culminated in the Age of Reason. At root, Aristotle's work made this possible.

Within the last two centuries, Immanuel Kant, building upon the work of Plato, was able to banish Aristotle's influence from philosophy and daily life. This resulted in the Age of Irrationality—an age of World Wars, mass murder, and pervasive irrationality. However, destructive philosophies, the criminal mind, irrationality, and the anticivilization itself are finished. Ayn Rand, building upon the valid aspects of Aristotle's philosophy, discovered and developed Objectivism. And Objectivist philosophy provides the unmovable defense of laissez-faire capitalism, individual rights, rational egoism, and reason. Such a philosophy will culminate in a world where business flourishes and crime becomes obsolete.

Mastering non-reality? What is that? That is the intentional integration of illusions, con jobs, non sequiturs, and false contexts to fabricate a dimension outside of reality. Mystics and criminal-minded individuals conjure up non-reality for their own secret agendas. Mystical/criminal-minded people typically call the sphere of non-reality a supernatural dimension. Such people then conjure up bizarre protocols that one needs to live by to gain benefits from these made-up realities.

Of course, non-realities never have existed and never will exist. Only reality exists, as correctly identified by Parmenides, Aristotle, Spinoza, Einstein, and others. Non-reality contradicts reality and, therefore, cannot exist.

So, why have various people—including philosophers, politicians, theologians, and writers—consistently conjured up realms of non-reality? People use dishonest integrated thinking to fabricate non-existing scenarios for one purpose. That purpose is to live by draining productive human beings of their earned wealth, property, and happiness. In other words, the mystical/criminal mind conjures up non-realities in order to live off productive human beings. To be sure, these deceptive people use baffling assertions that trap non-integrated thinkers. Then, while hoards of people are stupefied, the mystical/criminal mind moves in to control, drain, and eventually kill every man and woman living in the traditional world.

Today, there is a better alternative. One can integrate reality by discovering honest integrated thinking. The process of accurately integrating reality puts one beyond the reach of the mystical/criminal mind.

Any adult who does not accurately integrate reality eventually comes under the dominion of the dishonest integrating mind. And that means losses...then death—quickly, within a few decades. Today, such dynamics are unnecessary.

Now people can develop the perfect mind and body. Doing so enables each individual to (1) identify reality in conceptual terms, (2) integrate the facts of reality into principles, and (3) deal with reality consistently for escalating power, riches, and happiness. The alternative is to fall into the domain of the mystical/criminal mind, which means a dark world of suffering and death.

What will happen to mystical/criminal-minded people as everyone else develops the perfect mind and body and then evolves into Advanced Man? Advanced Man will outperform the mystical/criminal mind. Mystical/criminal-minded people will become uncompetitive against Advanced Man. Conjuring up non-realities, initiating force, and threatening to use force cannot subjugate Advanced Man. Nothing can subjugate Advanced Man; he or she is a sovereign entity overflowing with universal power, limitless wealth, and pleasurable romance.

The greatest threat to the criminal mind and its 3000 years of usurpation, destruction, and human death is the Perfect Mind/Perfect Body breakthrough. Why? Because nothing can stop the Perfect Mind/Perfect Body breakthrough, except perhaps a worldwide nuclear annihilation.

Not being able to stop individuals from developing perfect minds and bodies means the criminal mind is finished. As individuals develop the perfect mind and body, they will see right through the modus operandi of the criminal mind. Then they will abandon the criminal mind and its products of poverty, misery, sickness, and death. People who develop the perfect mind and body will rapidly capture prosperity, happiness, health, and life. They will advance far beyond the reach of the criminal mind.

But why is the Perfect Mind/Perfect Body breakthrough unstoppable? First, anyone who develops the perfect mind and body immediately becomes a sovereign: such a person captures unbounded freedom, prosperity, and fulfillment. Thus, a whole world of individuals with perfect minds and bodies guarantees the end of the criminal mind.
